Description of service
The presence of Roundup Ready® gene in soybeans is determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technology. Test results are reported as positive/negative at 0.3% threshold level of detection.
It takes 7 days to complete this test.
Service standard
- Documents detailing the results of inspection support services are issued within 2 business days after completion of all required analytical testing or inspection results.
Performance target
- The target for achieving this standard is set at 90%.
