Trade agreements coverage summary

Trade agreements are an important factor to consider in procurement. Whether or not these trade agreements apply depends on the total dollar value (in Canadian funds and including taxes) and type of commodity (good or service) being procured.

The following trade agreements are applicable to procurement by the Canadian Grain Commission:

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which will replace NAFTA, is not currently in effect.
