Final Quality Determination results and follow up
As part of the Final Quality Determination service, we contact every producer who requests this service to follow up on the results. The Canadian Grain Commission will obtain the primary elevator’s quality results, either from the request form, the producer, or the elevator. We then compare the elevator’s results to the Final Quality Determination results.
If the elevator’s results are outside the acceptable variation for that quality factor, a Canadian Grain Commission representative will follow up with the elevator to determine why and address any issues. There is no acceptable variation for grade.
