Online reporting service for monthly grain dealer reports

Licensed grain dealers must submit a monthly report about their operations during the previous month. This is required by the Canada Grain Regulations.

Failure to comply with your obligations under the Canada Grain Act and Canada Grain Regulations could lead to the suspension or revocation of your licence. It is a serious offence to make a false report.

Step 1

Sign up your company to use the online reporting service

You must create a username and password in order to secure your information. Personal information collected is protected under the Privacy Act.

Step 2

Sign in to enter your monthly grain dealer report

Use the online reporting service between the 1st and 25th of each month to report the previous month’s handlings.

Enter all shipments for the month and enter the metric tonnage values of he corresponding receipts, even if the shipment was purchased in a previous month. Purchases made at the end of one month but shipped at the beginning of the next month should be reported as corresponding with the shipments.

Example

If you purchase a shipment of grain at the end of November but the grain is shipped at the beginning of December, report the purchase in your December report.

Step 3

After entering the information for each shipment, verify the entered information.

Step 4

Submit your report.
