Elevator charge summaries

A list of charges (fees) that licensed grain companies charge for elevating, cleaning, drying and storing grain.

All licensees are required to file a schedule of charges with the Canadian Grain Commission before any changes can become effective. Changes to charges can occur anytime throughout the year, and the Canadian Grain Commission no longer specifies rates. Updates are applied to the website within 5 business days of licensee submission.

A licensed elevator may charge less than the charge (fee) it has filed with the Canadian Grain Commission. A licensed elevator cannot charge more than the charge (fee) filed with us. If a licensed elevator increases a charge, it must notify the Canadian Grain Commission. The Canadian Grain Commission does not set or approve charges.
