Payment process update
We’re currently working to determine the payment process for Canadian producers with eligible claims to receive money owed for grain deliveries to 1309497 Alberta Ltd. o/a W.A. Grain & Pulse Solutions (W.A. Grain).
It’s anticipated that the receiver, BDO Canada Limited, will be bringing their final report to court this November, which will provide further direction on the producer payment process. We’ll keep producers updated on the claim and payment process as more details become available.
If you are a grain producer and are owed money by this company for grain deliveries, contact the Canadian Grain Commission immediately. If you did business with this company on or after April 20, 2021, you will not be protected by security under the Canada Grain Act.

Licences not renewed
Effective September 1, 2021, W.A. Grain is no longer licensed by the Canadian Grain Commission. W.A. Grain’s grain dealer licence and 5 primary elevator licences have not been renewed.
The 5 primary elevator licences have not been renewed for the following locations:
- Pambrun, Saskatchewan
- Ponteix, Saskatchewan
- Vanguard, Saskatchewan
- Bashaw, Alberta
- Bowden, Alberta
